Mailing lists for registrars
There are three mailing lists for registrars, of which one is mandatory. The other two are discussion lists and each registrar decides whether he wants to participate. Registrars subscribe and unsubscribe their own members.
This list is used for information to the registrars about topics like changes in the registry system, domain name policy changes, new routines and so on. We expect the registrars to read the information sent out on this list.
All registrars must have at least one email address subscribed to this list. Registrars subscribe and unsubscribe their own members on the registrar web.
Mail to the registrar list is archived through SYMPA(‘Archive’ in the menu).
This is a list where registrars can discuss questions of common interest. Norid follows the traffic on this list, but will not participate in discussions unless there is a need to clarify a fact.

This list is a discussion forum for developers and users of the registry system. (The system was called Draupne in the development stage, thus the name.)
The registrars are welcome to follow the discussions on this list. The list can be useful for registrars who plan to develop their own EPP-system and want to ask questions and discuss problems.
As a list member you will receive a password to log-in. You will then gain access to all old messages through ‘Archive’ in the menu. To send messages you can use the link ‘Post’ directly from SYMPA or by sending email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
