the campaign will be run from 5 June

On Thursday 5 June a PR-campaign related to the opening of .no for private individuals will be initiated. The purpose of the campaign is to show how a domain name can be useful.

The campaign is based on a one-minute video. A campaign version of the video will run until 18 June, afterwards it will be replaced by a lasting version.

The video will be published on YouTube. During the campaign visitors will be led to the video via banner ads on Google and Facebook, which are linked to a landing page on www.erdetledig.no. From this page people may check if a domain name is available (via an integrated whois query), and also find a registrar.

Upon launching the landing page, we will remove the special registrar list showing registrars offering registrations within priv.no. Before the opening on 17 June, we will have the ordinary registrar list rebuilt and set up with filtering options.
