Norid plan to move our registry services on Tuesday 14 October to the registry site in Trondheim. On Tuesday 21 October the registry services will be moved back to the site in Oslo.

There will be two periods of service unavailability:
Tuesday 14 October 2014 20.00 - 24.00
and
Tuesday 21 October 2014 20.00 - 24.00

We expect to use less than the allocated four hours for the switch. The systems will be available again as soon as the work is finished.

The name service will not be affected.

The switching from the primary to the secondary site will be done by changing the DNS records for the various services, so that they will point to the site in Trondheim instead of to the one in Oslo.

For registrars that maintain access lists or have firewalls that regulate access to Norid's services, please ensure that your configurations are updated with the IP addresses used for both the Trondheim site and the Oslo site.

The addresses used by the Trondheim site are:
158.38.8.64/27, 2001:700:0:531::/64

The addresses used by the Oslo site are:
128.39.62.64/27, 2001:700:0:412f::/64

Information about the changes can be found at http://www.norid.no/registrar/nytt/2014-10-omlegging.en.html We will update this web page as the changes take place, and will keep you informed about delays or unforeseen problems.

If these changes cause problems for any of our registrars, please contact Norid's help desk at info@norid.no or by phone +47 07355.
