Important to note

  • Please check that your registrar quota is big enough in case you get many new customers. The basic desposit of 10 000 NOK lets you perform a grand total of 200 renewals, domain creations and holder changes. Read more here.
  • Private individuals must have a personal ID (PID) from Norid in order to register domain names. The automat usually runs once per day, but during this busy period we run it several times per day. Still, it usually takes several hours before your customer gets their result.
  • Do you want private customers, or do you only want businesses? Log onto the registrar web, go to the Admin->Public Data tab and set the flag marked "Registrar for individual holders" to the correct answer. Shortly it will be possible to filter the registrar list according to this condition.
  • Whois, DAS and the registrar web will remain available throughout this period.
