This is a reminder that the registrars must update technical contacts within 15 October 2018.
As of 25 September 2018, some 78 000 domains have a person for their technical contact (tech-c). In order to comply with the requirements in Norid's data model, these must be updated so that the tech-c becomes a role. For more information and a guide to how to accomplish this, please see our original message from June this year.
Norid will initiate deletion processes for those domains that remain with a person tech-c after 15 October. This will no doubt cause extra customer requests, both to Norid and to the registrars. We therefore strongly recommend that you prioritise the completion of these updates before the deadline.
