Both Norid and our providers have a mutual interest in strengthening the Norwegian top-level domain and making sure it is an obvious first choice for Norwegian enterprises and individuals. As part of this effort, we recommend that our providers distinguish themselves as providers of .no on their own website and in other marketing channels.
Below is Norid’s official .no badge. Providers and others may use these as needed. The badges are trademark-protected, and the following guidelines apply:
Provided you have a legitimate interest in communicating that you have a working relationship with Norid, you may use the .no trademark in your own marketing and image-building. You may also refer to us in a neutral and objective manner. If you do, please do not use the logo containing the company name Norid, but use your regular text font to write the name Norid.
In order to prevent misunderstandings and confusion, we require that all trademarks and references to our company name are removed when you no longer have any legitimate operations under contract with us.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about how to refer to Norid or how to use the trademarks.
