All registrars must take a look at their deposit and assess whether it is high enough to handle applications from private individials from 17 June 2014.
According to the registrar agreement registrars can register, renew and change holder for domain names for a total of 10 000 NOK each month, which equals 200 domains. In order to increase this quota registrars have to sign an additional agreement and arrange for a bank guarantee or pay a larger deposit.
You can check the amount of your deposit under the tab 'Accounting' on the registrar web (https://registrar.norid.no). If you want to increase your quota, you have to send a request to info@norid.no. In the request you have to state your registrar handle, the name of your organisation and how much you wish to increase the deposit in NOK. You will then receive an invoice and an agreement which must be signed and returned to Norid.
