The .no registry system will be down for maintenance on Friday 2013-04-19 20:00-24:00 CEST

Norid are planning a system upgrade on the registry system on Friday 2013-04-19 20:00-24:00 CEST.

The work includes upgrading the operating system and the database for certain core registry components.

The registry system (EPP and the EPP client), PID automaton, applicant declaration system, registrar web, whois and DAS will be unavailable during the upgrade. The name service (DNS) will not be affected.

After the upgrade Norid's registry site in Trondheim will be used for the registry system. The DNS names for the services will be changed, like during the last similar change in January 2012.

For registrars that maintain access lists or have firewalls that regulate access to Norid's services, please update your configurations with the IP addresses used for the Trondheim site.

The addresses used by the Trondheim site are:
158.38.8.64/27, 2001:700:0:4531::/64.

The addresses used by the Oslo site are:
128.39.62.64/27, 2001:700:0:412f::/64

2013-04-22: The system upgrade is now completed. A few minor errors were discovered during the weekend, these should now be fixed. Some instability may occur over the next days as individual services may be restarted.

Please contact info@norid.no if you see any errors or unexpected behaviour from the registry system, or if files/updates lack in the registrar web.
