When logging in for the first time, you must use the link you have received by email to set your password.
Dashboard
This page gives a quick overview of domain names in your account, and billable transactions.
Domain portfolio
This page has information about every domain name you are the registrar for, as well as overviews of billing and domain subscriptions up for renewal. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the content of these overviews, so that you know which types of data you have available.
About REGxxx
Check that all registered data is correct. Review the following:
Contact information
Check that the contact information for your organisation and primary contact is correct.
Public Data
- Check that the information that is made publicly available is correct. You can choose to publish your organisation contact information (registrered under "Contact information") or some alternative contact information.
- Some registrars only cater to certain categories of customers. To prevent members of the general public from selecting a registrar that cannot help them, we specify in the registrar list which registrars are open to accepting all categories of customers. If you want to be on this list, check the box for We want to be in the list for registrars seeking new customers. Then you must also add a link to your website, where customers can register Norwegian domain names.
- You can choose whether you want to offer services to private individuals by setting the value for We accept orders from private individuals. The value you set here, will be visible on the registrar list.
Email List
Here you can add additional email addresses if other persons than you should receive information sent to the email list for registrars.
Settings
- Make sure all the IP addresses you use for access to the registrar web, EPP and the registrar whois are registered. Add any missing ones. It is also possible to enter IP address blocks. We recommend that you add a description for each IP-address so it is easy to identify and remove if it is no longer in use.
- Click Change EPP Password to sett a password for EPP log-in. Please note that the EPP-password is is shared between all users who can access Norid's EPP channel from your registrar account.
- In order to offer DNSSEC, you must send an e-mail to info@norid.no.
Users
You can add more users by clicking Create new. Select either read-only or admin rights for each individual user. All users with admin rights must take the registrar test before given access to the production system.
It is important that the email addresses registered on the users are correct in case they need to ask for a password reset link.
Economy
Billing address
Check that your billing address is correct. If you want your invoices marked with a specific reference you can add that to Mark invoices with. The reference is added to the field "Ekst. ref" on your invoices.
Your bank details
Check that the registered account information is correct.
