Registrar testPart 2: Maintenance of own data on the registrar web

Each registrar has been assigned two test accounts with user names and passwords. Contact us at info@norid.no if you do not have this information to hand. Log in to the test version of the registrar web before you start your test.

Maintain contact information

Go to Contact information under REGxxx

1 Change the address, phone number and email address for the organisation.
2 Change the name and the email address for the primary contact.

Public contact information

Go to Public contact information

1 Click on "Edit contact information" and choose "Show alternative contact information". Add a new organisation name and address.
2 Add or change your web page address.
3 Choose that you want to be listed in the list for registrars seeking new customers.
4 Choose that you do NOT want to be in the list for registrars seeking new customers.

Email list

Go to Email lists

1 Add the email address "knut@firma.no"on the email list for registrars.
2 Remove the email address "knut@firma.no" from the email list for registrars.

Access to the registration system

Select Settings

1 Add the IP-address "158.38.255.255". Add "Siri home office" in the field "Description".
2 Add the IP-block "2001:700:1:60::/64". Add "Siri home office" in the field "Description".
3 Remove the IP-address and the IP-block you added in task 1 and 2.
4 Activate automatic renewal of domain names.
5 Deactivate automatic renewal of domain names.

Manage users

Select Users

1 Add a user with read only access to the registrar web. The username should be "testknut", full name "Knut Henriksen" and email address "knut@firma.no".
2 Set a password for the new user.
3 Add a user with admin rights to the registrar web. The username should be "testkari", full name "Kari Hansen" and email address "kari@firma.no".
4 Set a password for the new user.
5 Delete the user accounts with usernames "testknut" and "testkari".

Economy

Go to Billing address

1 Uncheck "Use your organisation address" if this choice is active.
2 Update your billing address with a new address and email address.
3 Specify how you would like your invoices to be marked, e.g. “Accounting”.

Bank details

Go to Bank details

1 Add or change your account number and the name of your bank.

Manage your own user profile

1 Go to your user profile by clicking on your username in the top right hand corner.
2 Change your password.
