Norid will upgrade the registry system on Tuesday 1 December, from 08:00 to 09:00 CEST.
During the upgrade, the services may be periodically unavailable, as we have to close access to them in order to introduce the new code in a stable and controlled manner.
The changes are:
- The system will support delegations which are DNSSEC-signed with the algorithms 'ECDSA Curve P-256 with SHA-256' and 'ECDSA Curve P-384 with SHA-384' (algorithm numbers 13 and 14). The system will also support the digest algorithm SHA-384 (algorithm number 4) for DS records.
- The system will send an EPP service message each time a contact or nameserver registration is automatically deleted after it is no longer used.
