On Tuesday 11th of December 2018, Norid plans to move the registry services from the registry site in Trondheim to the site in Oslo.

The services will be unavailable Tuesday 11th of December 2018 between 16:00 and 20:00 CET.

We expect to use less than the allocated four hours for the switch. The systems will be available again as soon as the work is finished.

The name service will not be affected.

The switch from the secondary to the primary site will be done by changing the DNS records for the various services, so that they will point to the site in Oslo instead of Trondheim.

For registrars that maintain access lists or have firewalls that regulate access to Norid’s services, please ensure that your configurations are updated with the IP addresses used for both the Trondheim site and the Oslo site.

The addresses used at the Trondheim site are: 78.91.120.160/29, 2001:700:4600:5::/64

The addresses used at the Oslo site are: 158.39.52.160/29, 2001:700:4601:5::/64

If these changes cause problems for any of our registrars, please contact Norid’s help desk at info@norid.no or by phone +47 73 55 73 55.
