On Tuesday 21st of May 2019, Norid plan to move the registry services back to the registry site in Oslo.

The services will be unavailable Tuesday 21st of May between 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM CEST.

We expect to use less than the allocated four hours for the switch. The systems will be available again as soon as the work is finished.

The name service will not be affected.

The switch from the primary to the secondary site will be done by changing the DNS records for the various services, so that they will point to the site in Oslo instead of Trondheim.

For registrars that maintain access lists or have firewalls that regulate access to Norid’s services, please ensure that your configurations are updated with the IP addresses used for both the Oslo site and the Trondheim site.

The addresses used by the Oslo site are: 158.39.52.160/29, 2001:700:4601:5::/64

The addresses used by the Trondheim site are: 78.91.120.160/29, 2001:700:4600:5::/64

If these changes cause problems for any of our registrars, please contact Norid’s help desk at info@norid.no or by phone +47 73 55 73 55.
